Amanda Schadler

president

Amanda is a junior studying Psychology and Neuroscience with minors in Women's/Gender Studies and French. 

​

Amanda joined WoCo because she is incredibly passionate about gender equity and advocating against discrimination. She is dedicated to ensuring that WoCo remains a safe and inclusive space for all students to fight gender inequities on/off campus, build leadership skills, and gain a sense of belonging in our community.

Alexis is a junior studying Women's/Gender studies with a minor in Education and Society.

Alexis joined WoCo because she absolutely loved attending the events planned by them, and she is always looking for ways to be more active in promoting women’s and gender equity on campus. She is honored to be serving as Vice President this year and she can’t wait to be involved in all things WoCo!

Vaishnavi is a sophomore studying human biology with a minor in Epidemiology and Public Health.

Vaishnavi joined WoCo because she is passionate about feminism and quality across all genders. She believes it is such a good community to be a part of and lots of fun!!

​Lily is a junior studying Environmental Biology/Zoology with a minor in Marine Biology and Ecosystems Management.

​

Lily joined WoCo because it’s important to her to have an organization where women feel safe, comfortable, and empowered. Advocating for Women’s rights and having the privilege of connecting with other strong women on campus is very meaningful to her.

Yamilexy joined WoCo because, as a First Generation Latina, she wants to create an uplifting and safe environment for all identities. Her goal is for this organization is to be a space where we can all feel understood and empowered.

Sophie Campbell

Sophie is a senior studying Psychology with a minor in Youth and Society.

​

Sophie joined WoCo because she believes that having a community and sense of belonging is one of the best ways to foster growth. By being surrounded by other women who have similar interests and values as her, Sophie will be able to grow as a person. In doing that, she will be able to help make MSU a better place for women and other groups by working with her peers.

Grace is a junior studying Human Biology with a minor in Environment and Health.

Grace joined WoCo because she cares deeply about empowering others, advocating for change, and bringing awareness to issues that impact our community. She is passionate about gender equity, inclusion, and feminism, and she hopes to create a safe space for her fellow MSU students while being a part of meaningful initiatives and events.

Lesly Morales

Meet our Women*s Council advisor, Lesly Morales! Lesly is the Coordinator of the Office for Women*s and Gender Equity (WAGE)––an office that advocates for gender equity on campus and in the greater MSU community. Lesly achieves this by holding inclusive, community engaging events that aim to empower and unite all gender identities here at Michigan State University. To find out more about WAGE click here!
